Appointments are generally made on a 24 hour basis unless the GP requests the patient to return for a follow-up appointment. You can either book by telephone, by calling in at the reception desk or by using our on-line patient access (ask at reception for details). Appointments can be booked from 8.30am Monday to Friday.
We always try to minimise the waiting time for you and, whilst we try to see you at the appointed time, some patients’ appointments may take longer than the time allocated, so please be patient if there is some delay.
Three appointment slots are blocked each day for patients who need to make a pre-bookable appointment.
Practice Nurse and Treatment Room appointments can be made in advance.
If there are no available appointments and your medical problem is urgent please ask for a telephone consultation from the GP. You will be asked for a brief description of your problem and a contact telephone number. The GP will contact you as soon as possible.
Please always attend your appointment on time and if you are unable to keep your appointment then please remember to call us as soon as possible. By doing this, you will be helping us to make more appointments available for you and other patients. Last month there were 67 patient’s who failed to attend their appointments.
