Requests for repeat prescriptions can be requested through either of the following channels. On receipt of the computer slips attached to the prescription. These can be handed in personally during surgery opening times or posted to the surgery or secondly by on-line patient access (ask at reception for details). Repeat medication is not normally accepted by telephone, but emergencies will be considered. Notice of 48 hours is required.

Roker Family Practice follows the Department of Health best practice guidelines which states 28 days supply of medication should be prescribed at any one time, although in certain circumstances e.g when a patient pays for their prescription 56 days can be prescribed at the GP’s discretion.
Always allow sufficient time for your repeat prescriptions to be ready for collection.
